Anticoagulation update

This seminar will be facilitated by Dr Jan Gregson and presented by Rachael Cooke, pharmacist prescriber at Hutt Hospital and others.

Topics will include haemostasis and thrombosis basics, clinical applications, special situations, common indications, choice of anticoagulant, transitions of care and quality improvement. Case studies and a Q & A session will also be included.

 
Audience: Hospital physicians and doctors, hospital and community pharmacists (particularly those involved with Community Pharmacy Anticoagulation Management – CPAMS), clinical nurse practitioners, specialists that run AF clinics, anticoagulation clinics and primary care nurses involved with anticoagulation.
