This seminar will cover clinical pharmacology as it applies to primary care and common misconceptions about medicines in NZ.

A great opportunity for networking and learning among non-prescribing registered nurses in primary care, this seminar will also look at topics such as asthma management, hypertension and diabetes. The seminar will be presented by Dr Elissa McDonald and relevant experts. Dr McDonald will also cover pharmacological principles and mechanisms of action for frequently used drugs.

The “Clinical Pharmacology for Nurses” activity has been endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and has been approved for up to 6 CME credits, for the General Practice Educational Programme (GPEP) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes.
