Anaphylaxis in Practice: Recognition, Management and Misperceptions

FREE WEBINAR: Anaphylaxis can be difficult to recognise and manage in primary care, particularly when symptoms are evolving and they do not fit the class picture.

Using seven practical primary care cases, Dr Karen Lindsay and Dr Rebekah Thompson will explore how to distinguish mild allergic reactions from anaphylaxis, recognise patients at greater risk of severe outcomes, and identify when treatment with adrenaline should begin without delay. The cases will highlight common diagnostic and management grey areas, as well as some of the myths, misconceptions and unconscious biases that can influence clinical decision-making.

This practical, case-based webinar aims to strengthen confidence in recognising, treating and following up anaphylaxis in the primary care setting.

As always, we will answer as many questions as possible.
