Diabetic retinopathy: management and developments

Dr Narme Deva, a Consultant Ophthalmologist discusses how the management of diabetic maculopathy and retinopathy has changed dramatically in the last 5 years and how we are now able to achieve significantly better outcomes with the ability to improve vision rather than just attempt to preserve it. Narme will discuss:

  • Classification and treatment of diabetic retinopathy.
  • Recent advances in management of diabetic retinopathy.
  • Recent advances in ocular imaging.
