Paediatric Immunologist and Allergist

MBChB, Dip Paed, FRACP

Originally from Auckland, Annaliesse undertook her medical training at the University of Auckland and completed her advanced training in Paediatric Immunology and Allergy at Starship Children’s Hospital. She has recently returned to New Zealand after embarking on a 2-year fellowship at Centre Hospitalier Sainte-Justine in Montreal, Canada, gaining wide exposure to primary immune deficiency, and other disorders of the immune system. Annaliesse was also fortunate to spend time in the Oral Immunotherapy Clinic at Sainte-Justine, the first centre offering oral food desensitisation for children with food allergy in Canada.

Annaliesse works as a Paediatric Immunologist and Allergist at Starship Children’s Hospital and in private practice at the Auckland Allergy and Eczema Clinic in Ponsonby, Auckland.

Annaliesse holds particular interests in paediatric allergy, primary immune deficiency and further disorders of the immune system.
