About this Course
For primary care practitioners to identify, assess and manage females with Abnormal Uterine Bleeding.
Learning objectives:
By the end of this module, learners will be able to:
- Define and classify Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (AUB) using current FIGO terminology.
- Recognise AUB as an important presenting symptom of possible endometrial pathology.
- Identify patients requiring early investigation, with an equity lens.
- Take a focused, culturally responsive history and examination.
- Order and interpret investigations appropriately.
- Identify indications for Pipelle and perform sampling safely (if trained).
- Start evidence-based first-line management in primary care.
- Recognise red flags and refer appropriately.
