Mild cognitive impairment; diagnosis and management
Primary care physicians play a crucial role in the detection and management of MCI that potentially could be life-changing to the individual.
Making the diagnosis of MCI provides an opportunity to stratify management of the risk factors for dementia and can allow the patient to gain better health literacy, make wise lifestyle decisions and therefore improve outcomes.
