Endocrinologist

Ruveena is an Endocrinologist, dually-specialised in Obstetric Medicine. Ruveena completed her MBChB at The University of Auckland and won awards for her research in Endocrinology and Diabetes during her specialist training. She worked overseas in Queensland, Australia as a Consultant Endocrinologist and Obstetric Physician. She now works part-time as a Consultant with the Endocrinology Department at Auckland City Hospital, and also as an Obstetric Physician at National Women’s Hospital. Ruveena has special interests in reproductive endocrinology, general endocrinology (thyroid, metabolic bone disease, pituitary, adrenal) and obstetric medicine. Ruveena is passionate about caring for her patients, knowing their stories, and helping them to achieve the best outcome on their medical journeys.
