Nicki Macklin
Nicki Macklin is a health researcher, educator, and advocate whose work focuses on kindness, leadership, and the human experience of healthcare. Her past work history includes working as an occupational therapist before becoming involved in primary health service design, delivery and evaluation. Nicki’s recent PhD explored how kindness is defined and practised in healthcare settings, and what conditions allow it to thrive, from healthcare teams to the boardroom. Nicki works alongside professionals, organisations, and regulatory bodies in health, insurance, and law settings to reframe kindness as a practical, accountable part of professional practice.
