The human brain is not designed for thinking

Session Date:
Saturday, March 24, 2018 - 08:45 to 09:25

There are two problems with our brains. They are not designed for thinking and they have a habit of searching for the delete button. There is no delete button in the human brain so if you have been awake at 3 am in the morning trying to sort something out it is because your brain is in problem solving mode and unable to make progress.

Bruce Arroll talks about problems of human thought and behaviour and how Acceptance and Commitment therapy can provide some solutions to our patients.
