Anand will provide an overview of common adult spine presentations, with a focus on assessment and management in a primary care setting, including red flags, presentation patterns, and referral criteria to both surgeons and non-operative musculoskeletal physicians.
Rohil will present on the utility of physiotherapists as first-line practitioners for managing spinal-related pain. Approaches including, manual therapy, exercise approaches and return to work programmes will be discussed.
Our aim is to simplify what can be a complex area for a busy general practitioner.
