Since simvastatin becomes available in 1992, followed by atorvastatin, we have been debating when to start statins, when to stop them and do we have a target?  And does it matter? The pendulum swings.

This session brings a pragmatic update to starting and stopping statins – and how we can explain this to individuals so they can make an informed decision about taking a statin – or not.
