GP Advocate
I am a fellow of the RNZCGP. My iwi affiliations are Ngati Porou and Whakatohea, though I was raised in Tamaki Makaurau.
My current role is as a founding member of General Practitioners Aoteroa (GPA) which is presently in the pre-formalisation stage. I convene the GPA planning group which has 20-25 GP and registrar members from across the country who are writing the constitution that will establish the group formally. My previous advocacy roles include executive board member for the NZRDA, member of the GP council of the NZMA and ex-board of NZMA. I am currently on the board for the Auckland faculty for the RNZCGP.
