Nurse Practitioner in community geriatrics

Sharon is a nurse practitioner with the area of practice of geriatrics working in the community in the Waikato area. She is also a senior lecturer at the University of Waikato, teaching gerontology and nurse practitioner pathways. Sharon has a strong interest in geriatric community care often with the most reluctant participants to primary care as well as the complex dementia management.
Sharon is also completing her PhD on the role of the nurse practitioner in primary and secondary care in New Zealand.
