“Eczema” is a descriptive term and the clinical features are similar in all the different types. The basic clinical features are the same; in the acute form red, scaling, sometimes vesicular with serous ooze and the chronic form scaling, lichenified and dry.
An accurate diagnosis places the eczema in to the correct diagnostic category and helps appropriate management
The talk will discuss different types of eczema from birth to old age, diagnostic pitfalls and how eczema in skin of colour can look different.
