AJ Seine

Dermatologist

Dr Seine studied a Bachelor of Science at The University of Auckland before completing his medical degree through Otago University. His dermatology training was completed in Waikato, Auckland and Brisbane, Australia. During his time in Brisbane he focussed extensively on cosmetic dermatology including often thought to be 'cosmetic' medical dermatological conditions such as melasma, vitiligo and hair loss.

AJ completed a one year laser fellowship under Dr Shobhan Manoharan and became proficient with the use of energy-based devices within the field of dermatology and their utility in treating a vast range of conditions.

AJ is currently in the final stages of a Mohs Micrographic Surgery fellowship with world-recognised Mohs surgeons Dr Paul Salmon and Dr Neil Mortimer.

AJ has an ongoing commitment to public dermatology and the education of primary care physicians in common dermatological conditions to improve access to dermatological services for patients in New Zealand.
