Eating Disorder Liaison
Alix is the Eating Disorder Liaison (EDL) for Waitemata, covering the Child, Youth and Family Mental health portfolio (CAMHS, Maternal Mental Health, CADS, EPI). A social worker by background, she has worked alongside young people with a range of eating struggles for a number of years and has experience with a range of treatment modalities for these presentations. Alix works directly with families and young people as well as providing consultation and support for clinicians. Alix also works with the Auckland Region Tertiary Eating disorder provider, Tupu Ora.
