Dermatologist
Amanda Oakley CNZM is shortly to retire from her role as a Dermatologist at Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora Waikato. She is an Honorary Professor in the Department of Medicine of the University of Auckland and an Honorary Professor at the New Zealand Graduate School of Medicine.
Amanda is also a diagnosing consultant for MoleMap.
The original creator of DermNet, she has numerous publications, both online and in print, on dermatological topics.
Her main research interests are teledermatology, including teledermoscopy, the early diagnosis of melanoma, and artificial intelligence applied to skin diseases
