Haemish is a “cradle to grave” hip and knee surgeon in Auckland. He trained in New Zealand, and after finishing the New Zealand Orthopaedic training program in 1997 he undertook world-leading fellowships in Canada and the United States in paediatric orthopaedic surgery, sports surgery and total joint replacement. His public appointment is at the Starship Children’s Hospital, and he practices his adult surgery at Ascot Hospital.

Haemish is co-editor of Lovel and Winter – the world’s leading paediatric orthopaedic textbook, has written many book chapters and over 30 peer-reviewed journal papers. He is involved in research at Auckland Medical School, Starship and private practice.
