Dr Andrew Williams (consultant urologist) together with Dr Remy Lim (consultant radiologist), will discuss new trends in prostate cancer investigation and management, what are the recommendations for PSA testing and who should be referred for further investigation. They will cover different imaging modalities for the prostate and touch on new treatments available.
A standard approach for investigating and managing bladder pain and recurrent UTI’s will also be discussed during the webinar, as well as a summary of red flags and indications for referral for these conditions.

Dr Andrew Williams
BMedSc, MBChB, FRACS (Urol)
Andrew trained in New Zealand before completing a formal 2-year fellowship at The University of Western Ontario, one of only 15 centres in the world accredited for subspecialty training in Urological Oncology. The training not only consisted of high volumes of complex cancer surgery but also extensive exposure to other areas of surgery, medical oncology and radiation oncology. He has received numerous awards, attained nearly a quarter of a million dollars in research grants and published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Andrew works as a Consultant urologist at Auckland District Health Board and Counties Manukau District Health Board. He is a member of the Ministry of Health Prostate Cancer Workforce and Medical Advisor for the Prostate Cancer Foundation and Testicular Cancer NZ.

Dr Remy Lim
Remy is a graduate of Auckland School of Medicine and completed his radiology training in Auckland. Following completion of registrar training, he undertook a one--year fellowship on oncologic body imaging and built upon this by completing a second fellowship in nuclear medicine/PET-CT at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre in New York City.
Remy joined Mercy Radiology upon his return to New Zealand and was recently appointed as Medical Director to the practice. He was instrumental in the introduction if Gallium-based PET/CT scans for prostate cancer in 2015. Remy also spends part of his working week at ADHB where he pursues his subspecialty interest in oncological and genitourinary imaging.
