The management of heart failure has evolved rapidly over the past few years with international and local guidelines changing to match.

Professor Rob Doughty will take a case-based approach to translating these new guidelines into clinical practice.

BIO: Rob Doughty, Cardiologist

Rob holds the Heart Foundation Chair of Heart Health at the University of Auckland. He is a cardiologist at the Green Lane Cardiovascular Service, Te Toka Tumai Auckland Hospital and The Heart Group. He leads the heart failure service at Auckland Hospital.

Current research interests include the genetic and environmental causes of premature coronary disease, outcomes and innovative therapies for patients with heart failure, atrial fibrillation and coronary disease.
