ADHD is a very common and increasingly diagnosed neurodevelopmental condition.
In this clinic, I will provide a quick history of ADHD and its treatment, an overview of the diagnostic process, a discussion of common comorbidities and complicating factors and a review of available treatments including behavioural management strategies and medications. I will conclude with exploring how paediatric services can effectively work with primary care to provide optimal care to these often complicated and vulnerable patients.
