With the introduction of HIV PrEP/PEP and more recently guidelines for Doxy PEP, we have tools to reduce the transmission of STIs, reducing the burden of disease on both the client and the health system. The question is how to utilise the whole health-care team to improve access.
Suzanne will discuss how to operationalise STI and HIV prevention:
- Doxy PEP to reduce the transmission of syphilis and chlamydia.
- HIV PrEP and PEP to reduce the transmission of HIV.
- HIV early diagnosis improving pathways to treatment.
