The session will focus on before and after bariatric surgery and address common areas of concern.
Before surgery: will focus on referral criteria and navigating public vs private.
After surgery: will look at the short and long term follow-up of bariatric patients covering areas such as: 'what follow up does the bariatric team provide?', early and late complications associated with surgery and weight-loss, nutritional screens and interpretation, and weight regain.
