Managing Cardio-Renal-Metabolic (CRM) Conditions
Workshop: 1.00pm - 4.00pm.
Afternoon tea is provided.
Ryan Paul presents a comprehensive session on managing metabolic conditions in primary care.
This workshop will focus on practical, evidence-based strategies for treating diabetes, dyslipidemia, hypertension, gout, and kidney disease, with an emphasis on simplifying and integrating care across these interconnected conditions.
Ryan will highlight the latest updates in clinical guidelines and share insights from his work with the Aotearoa New Zealand Cardiovascular Kidney Metabolic Guidance Group. He’ll explore how primary care providers can optimise non-pharmacological and pharmacological treatments to improve outcomes and reduce disparities — especially for Māori, Pacific, and rural populations disproportionately affected by metabolic disease.
Cost
- Registration fee (add-on to Symposium registration) - $355
- Registration fee Friday only participants (not part of Symposium) - $375
