In this session, Mr Rajan Patel, Head and Neck Surgeon offers a practical, hands-on demonstration of surgical instruments, cryotherapy, local anaesthetic infiltration, punch biopsy, curettage, shave excision, sebaceous cyst excision and suturing – including deep dermal sutures.

He will focus on and run through advanced surgical techniques for GPs, including tips and tricks to optimise scar healing, local flaps, skin grafts and more.

As part of practising these techniques, please be aware the workshop will include the handling of raw pig skin.

• Registration fee per session (add-on to Symposium registration) - $330
• Registration fee per session, Friday only participants (not part of Symposium) - $350
