Alveera is a Dunedin-based GP and also, works as a Medical Assessor at the Centre for Adverse Reactions Monitoring (CARM). CARM is part of the New Zealand Pharmacovigilance Centre (NZPhvC), based within the University of Otago. CARM is contracted by the Ministry of Health to undertake various national pharmacovigilance activities.
Alveera’s special interests are Travel Medicine, and adverse events to therapeutic products particularly at harm prevention/minimisation.
