Bia is an anterior segment specialist with expertise across a broad spectrum of eye conditions, from ocular surface disease to intraocular reconstruction.
Bia completed a clinical research fellowship in cornea and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) focused on cataract surgery. She pursued advanced subspecialty training in Auckland, gaining expertise in corneal transplantation and complex cataract surgeries.
Bia is the first Korean ophthalmologist in NZ and offers consultations in both English and Korean.
