General Surgeon
Carla is a subspecialty-trained general surgeon with expertise in the management of benign & malignant breast disease, including oncoplastic surgery, endocrine conditions (thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal gland), sarcomas & skin lesions.
After earning a Bachelor of Science with honours, she attended medical school at the University of Toronto before completing her general surgery residency in Vancouver, Canada. Carla then completed fellowships in endocrine surgery, sarcoma & breast surgery.
She is a full member of BreastSurg ANZ. Carla currently holds a consultant surgeon position at Auckland City Hospital and Allevia Breast Institute
