Mr Chien Kow is a complex spine and neurosurgeon. He offers spinal surgeries, both minimally invasive approach (MIS) and open surgery, for patients with degenerative spine disease, spinal tumour (intradural and metastasis), spinal infection and spinal trauma. He also offers brain surgery for patients with brain tumour, brain trauma and CSF dysregulation (such as Chiari malformation or normal pressure hydrocephalus).
Mr Chien Kow is passionate about improving the care provided to his patients and actively conducts clinical research. He is involved in multiple research projects and has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles. He is academically affiliated with Auckland University, with a research focus on both spinal cord injury and brain tumours.
