Chin-Yun is a Dermatologist and Mohs Micrographic Surgeon, holding Fellowships with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the New Zealand Dermatological Society, and the American College of Mohs Surgery.
He has contributed to the field through publications in peer-reviewed journals such as the British Journal of Dermatology and has presented at international conferences, including the World Congress of Dermoscopy. He also served as a reviewer for the Australasian Journal of Dermatology.
Committed to education, Chin-Yun leads an RNZCGP-endorsed GP Dermatology Course, designed to strengthen dermatological expertise in primary care and promote equitable access to high-quality skin health services across New Zealand
