Dr. David Kuhl is a Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia.
Integrating medicine, psychology and the social sciences is fundamental to his work as a clinician/researcher. He has worked with healthcare providers, veterans in transition from military to civilian life, first responders, professional and university athletes and men who have prostate cancer.
In listening to the stories of others, he has developed an understanding of the complexity of their physical, emotional and spiritual suffering. He has also witnessed their personal growth, integrity, deepening relationships and resilience.
It is in that context that he is committed to understanding the role/impact of fathers on their children, in their families and in their communities.
