General Practitioner
I am a graduate of Auckland University: MB ChB 1983, Dip Obs 1984, Certif Hyperbaric Med 1995, FRNZCGP 2003. I completed a Diploma in Strategic Leadership in 2002. My 35 years in general practice have primarily been in a large urban group practice but I have also been a solo GP and spent a year doing primarily rural locum work. I have been involved in PHO leadership and clinical governance and have worked part-time as in-house clinical advisor for HDC since 2009. I was Chief Examiner for the GPEP written exam for 10 years until 2018. My interests include family, tramping, travel and running.
