Imran Ali

Urological Surgeon

Imran is a New Zealand and Australian-trained urological surgeon who works at Manukau SuperClinic, Auckland City Hospital and privately consults and operates at Kakariki Hospital, Greenlane. 

A graduate of the University of Otago, Imran completed his specialist training in urology and was awarded his Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He has also had the privilege of being a General Practitioner and believes in providing holistic and patient-centred care.  

Imran worked and undertook prestigious fellowships in Lismore, St George, and St Vincent’s Hospitals in New South Wales, Australia, where he focused on laparoscopic, robotic, and andrological surgery. At St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, he gained specialised training in NanoKnife (Irreversible Electroporation) focal therapy for prostate cancer.  

Imran also has a particular interest in advanced, minimally invasive treatments for BPH, as well as kidney stones. 

A passionate believer in improving access to healthcare, Imran serves as a trustee of the Friends of Fiji Health Foundation, an organisation dedicated to providing comprehensive medical assistance to underserved communities in Fiji.
