Janina is a qualified Paramedic, graduating from Auckland University of Technology in 2008 with a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Paramedicine. She also graduated with a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management in 2008. In 2009 she began working in Hyperbaric Medicine and qualified as a Hyperbaric Chamber Attendant with Hyperbaric Health Ltd.
In 2012 she qualified as an Anaesthetic Technician, graduating from Auckland University of Technology with a Diploma in Applied Science (Anaesthetic Technician) and registering with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand in 2013.
She qualified as a New Zealand Resuscitation Council CORE Instructor in 2012. Janina was previously a Resuscitation Coordinator for Auckland District Health Board for six years. Janina is a Dive Medical Specialist for Divers Alert Network.
