New Zealand Resuscitation Council instructor, Paramedic, Dive Medical Specialist Supervisor
Johan qualified as an Army medic in South Africa in 1994. He then specialised as a dive medic in 1995 and continued shared duties as an offshore and onshore medic. In 2000 he registered as an Ambulance Emergency Assistant with the Health Professions Council in South Africa.
Johan was a First Aid instructor in the defence force and with BLS medical. In 2008 he moved to New Zealand and took the post as Hyperbaric Technician and Trainer for Hyperbaric Health.
He currently works as a dive medical specialist on the Divers Alert emergency hotline. Johan is a New Zealand Resuscitation Council instructor.
