Dr Marc Lawrence is a consultant Dermatologist, Mohs surgeon, and laser specialist. He is passionate about providing expert patient-centred care while optimising surgical outcomes using various medical, surgical, and laser techniques.
Marc completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Otago, and his Medical Degree at the University of Auckland. Following graduation, he worked at Auckland City Hospital and Middlemore Hospital before undertaking his Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) Advanced Training in Dermatology at Waikato Hospital, Greenlane and Auckland City Hospital, and the NHS Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle upon Tyne, England.
During his training in England, Dr Lawrence was awarded a British Society for Dermatological Surgery (BSDS), British College of Dermatology (BCD), and British Association of Dermatology (BAD) Mohs micrographic surgery fellowship, also becoming an International Affiliate Member of the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS). He has fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery for the precise excision and reconstruction of skin cancers, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, and rare skin tumours.
