Marion is Director and Principal Clinical Psychologist at Nurture Psychology, a specialist eating disorder practice with clinics across Aotearoa NZ, and a Senior Lecturer in Primary Mental Health at the University of Auckland. With over 20 years’ experience as a clinician, researcher, educator and supervisor in the field of eating disorders, she trained at the Maudsley Hospital (PhD, King’s College London) and has published widely in the eating-disorder literature.
Dr Roberts leads clinical services across the full range of eating disorder presentations and regularly delivers training for generalist & specialist clinicians on evidence-based assessment and specialist treatment modalities.
She is actively involved in local and international research collaborations and has served on the board of the Australian & New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorders. Originally from the Waikato, since returning to Aotearoa in 2012 she has been based in Tamaki Makaurau.
